Hi! Nice to Meet You!

We know that looking for a church home can be a difficult task.  If you're looking for the perfect church, look no further.  Because we are not a perfect church!  We are a group of people, flawed as we may be, who are discovering what it means to be loved by God and to follow Jesus in community.  Maybe you have questions. Maybe you've been a Christian for decades. Maybe you're somewhere in between. Regardless, we invite you to join us on your journey while we are on ours. You are loved here. You are accepted here. There is hope in Jesus.

Sunday Service:

207 Braeburn Drive, Walkersville, MD, 21793
Walkersville Community Church is a place where people can meet people who love Jesus!  We invite you to join us in worshipping the Lord, growing and being renewed in His word, and connecting with others to follow Jesus in community.  We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ and join each other in living the Gospel message.  Join us this Sunday!

What To Expect On Sunday

As you enter the building you'll see a few "greeters" with name-tag buttons. They will be happy to help you with anything you need and give you your special first-time-guest bag!
A typical service will last about 90 minutes.  Get here early, and grab a cup of coffee in Connections Cafe before the service starts at 10 am.  Our worship teams lead a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary music to open our service.  Typically, we will sing three songs.

Children are released before the sermon, both elementary (K-5) and preschool (ages 2-3), to take part in the Kids Church program in the clubhouse next door. A nursery is available for children under two.

The first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper and partake in the communion elements together. At this time, to make everyone feel safe, there are two options for communion: 1) take communion with hand-made bread and drink from the communion table 2) take communion at your seat with a pre-packaged set of cracker and drink.

Plan to stay after the service for fellowship and meeting new people!

After Pastor Tim's sermon, we will take part in "Missions Moments" where volunteers share praises of what happened in our week,  followed by the Lord's Prayer.

We affirm your family's decision to worship however you deem healthy and safe during this time, and worship sets, sermons and Kids' Church are posted to our YouTube channel.  Join us as the Body of Christ weather in-person or online!
