What we believe shapes our lives! Rooted in God's Word, our core values touch our hearts, stir our emotions, and move us to action.
PRAYER
"Prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays." Kierkegaard. Jesus modeled a life of prayer in relationship with Father, and we are to follow His example in seeking the heart of God. Centered around the Lord's Prayer, we pray for His Name as priority, His provision, protection, power, pardon and praise.
God's Word
We believe in the Bible as God's authoritative Word, the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the centrality of Christ's message of love, grace and redemption through all of Scripture. We know God's Word to be His revelation of Himself to His people, and value the study of His Word. The hope of God's unchanging Word provides a "sure and steadfast anchor of the soul." (Hebrews 6:19)
COMMUNITY
We value integrity in relationships and mutual accountability in an atmosphere of grace, love, and acceptance. Though we may not see eye to eye, we are called to walk hand in hand. Corporate prayer, corporate worship, corporate study change us and allow us to live as one body to honor "one Lord, one faith, one baptism" (Ephesians 4:5)
What is the good news?
All human history hinges on Passion Week. The Good News of the Gospel says that God is chasing after you! In His death, Jesus has tasted of death, defeated death, set us free from the fear of death, and gives us the hope of resurrection! No sin is too bad, no soul is too far gone and no road is irredeemable. Praise God!
We invite you to join us in this exciting journey as we learn, grow, and follow Jesus in community!
